Who are the insurance providers in this program?

Please note that you may not receive a quote from all of these providers depending upon your personal circumstances and state of residence.
Do I need to wait until my current homeowners or renters insurance policy comes up for renewal to switch to another plan?
Who in my family is eligible for this program?
How much does coverage cost?
What if my employment status changes?
Good news! If you leave or retire from your current employer, you may be able to continue your coverage without interruption, subject to applicable law and the plan’s terms and conditions. Although payroll deduction will no longer be available, you can choose alternative payment methods such as direct bank account deduction, credit card billing or home billing. Once the carrier has been notified of the change, you should hear from them directly within about 5-7 business days. Please note that higher rates may apply.
If there is a change in your payroll schedule, such as moving from bi-weekly to monthly pay, please allow up to 30 days for any changes to be reflected. If you terminate your coverage and are using payroll deduction, it may take up to 30 days for the deductions to stop. Any refunds will be processed by the carrier and typically issued within 30 days.
When would my coverage start?
What do I do if I have a claim?
What type of "homes" can be covered?
I don’t own a home. Why would I need renters insurance?
Your landlord’s insurance policy probably only covers the building or apartment where you live (the physical structure), but not your belongings or your liability for accidents.
If your possessions are stolen during a break-in or damaged by a fire or severe weather, a renters insurance policy may allow you to recover their value. Also, if someone is injured during an accident in your home, renters insurance could help protect you in the case of a liability lawsuit.
